I was born in Mexico City.  Received a certificate from the National School of Fine Arts in Mexico City (Academia de San Carlos).  A graduate of the Rio Grande Bible Seminary in Judean Christian Theology, completed the Course of Study from Perkins School of Theology at SMU, and Advanced Course of Study from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.  Received a Bachelor of Fine Arts-Studio Arts from West Texas A&M University.  When I was young I saw Botticelli’s Allegory of Spring in an old catalog and became fascinated by the human figure, movement and rhythm of the images. About forty years later, I painted a copy of Botticelli’s Primavera in its original dimensions. That’s why when I visited NGA, I decided to become a copyist in 2009 focusing on the Renaissance collection. The first painting I copied at the NGA was Botticelli's, Madonna and Child
