Alice’s rich watercolors and oils show her love for recording natural beauty in portraits, still lifes, and landscapes. She and her husband love travel, and she records their trips in sketchbook diaries. She is a popular teacher and exhibits extensively throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region and has won numerous awards.
Her work has been featured in the Washington Post, and two national magazines, Watercolor Magic and Artist's Sketchbook. She is a signature member of the Virginia Watercolor Society, the Baltimore Watercolor Society, and Potomac Valley Watercolorists.
Alice currently teaches at The Art League School in Alexandria, VA, as well as in other locations. She has also lead overseas travel workshops in Spain and Paris, and in 2015, she taught at the La Romita School of Art in Italy.
In addition to many private clients, corporate clients include the American Diabetes Association, Jack Taylor Toyota, The Alexandria Commission on the Arts, Christopher Place Resort, McEnearny Real Estate, and the Potomac West Business Association.
Arrangements can be made for portraits, house portraits, and pet portraits and other commissions, as well as fine art copies.
